As the Senior Electrical Engineer,you will be responsible for developing innovative and unique designsolutions that align with project and client needs. To do this you willlead the overall electrical system design, including lighting systems,power distributions systems, fire alarm systems, security and accesscontrol, and communication systems for building related projects.Additional responsibilities include: Providing leadership andcoordination with project team members from project inception throughcompletion. Creating schematic, design development and constructiondrawings and documents. Performing required design and code compliancecalculations. Collaborating with architectural and constructionprofessionals to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.Reviewing shop drawings. Verifying that completed systems meetperformance specifications. Performing site inspections and observingfield construction at key project junctures. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCEAND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates will have the following:Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering or ArchitecturalEngineering from an accredited university. Ten years of commercialdesign and production experience with conceptual, schematic andconstruction documents, and construction administration. Experiencedesigning electrical building systems (lighting design experience is aplus). Professional engineering registration. Proficiency in computeroperation for engineering design programs (REVIT software and BIM360).Enthusiasm for the design/build approach including collaboration witharchitectural and construction professionals. Effective workingindividually and within team environments. Strong time management,organizational and priority setting skills. High initiative and passionfor learning.
