　　BlueHalo is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a multi-disciplinary embedded hardware team. You will work closely with mechanical and software engineers to develop and integrate electronic systems in low-SWaP form factors under short time frames. You must be able to quickly understand project goals, translate them into electrical system requirements, and work closely with the mechanical and software teams to develop and integrate designs. You should also be familiar with the PCB manufacturing process including generation of fabrication and assembly drawings, bills of materials, and interfacing with PCB fabrication and assembly houses.

　　You’d like to do this

　　Circuit design and simulation

　　Electrical system architecture, design, and integration

　　Communication of designs via design reviews and system block diagrams

　　You’re required to have this

　　10 years of experience with embedded hardware design, integration, and testing

　　Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited four-year university

　　Basic understanding of communications protocols such as SPI, UART, USB, RS-232, Ethernet, WiFi, JTAG, etc.

　　Experience with Schematic capture and printed circuit board layout using Altium Designer.

　　Experience with mixed signal simulation and circuit design, with devices such as amplifiers, microprocessors, RFICs, point-of-load regulators, analog-to-digital converters, etc.

　　Experience using common electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal analyzers, and function generators.

　　Experience in coordinating PCB fabrication and assembly with domestic commercial vendors.

　　Understanding of board layout best practices, including controlled impedance, differential pair routing, signal integrity considerations, grounding and isolation techniques.

　　Understanding of Size Weight and Power (SWaP) design tradespace for small form factor, highly integrated PCB assemblies and electrical subsystems.

　　This position requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain an active federal security clearance, TS/SCI clearance with a poly.

　　You Could Also Have This

　　15+ years of experience with embedded hardware design, integration, and testing

　　Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics from an accredited university

　　Ability to lead a small team through short timeline, rapid system development and integration.

　　Experience with adapting and integrating electronic subsystems into fieldable solutions.

　　Experience with high-speed digital and RF circuit board layout and design techniques.

　　Familiarity with FPGA development, hardware/firmware vulnerability analysis, flexible or rigid-flex circuit board design.
