Senior Electrical Engineer (Communications Test Design, Inc., West Chester, PA) Develop automated engineering test and repair capabilities; Analyze technical requirements and the effort required for test systems and test development; Produce high quality documentation including test procedures, schematics, flowcharts, and project status reports, that is clearly understandable by internal and external personnel; Build, test, debug, develop, and qualify test systems and test applications; Analyze, troubleshoot, and test components for performance; Work hands on with test equipment, oscilloscopes, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzers, computer systems, wireless communication, networking, and board testing; Work with Embedded system, test engineering and Robotics automation; Work with custom test fixture design, ICT/FCT testers; Exhibit understanding of electrical systems, working with Ether CAT, RS422/RS485, RS232, I2C, SPI, USB etc.; Analyze technical requirements and effort associated with test systems and products. Support local branch on technical requirements; and Take part in the engineering process, including schedule planning, error budgeting, diagnosing and debugging system level issues. Must have experience with the following to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Analog, digital, and microprocessor circuits; Technical understanding of Audio, video, and RF circuits; C, C++, and C#; Understanding of IP and wireless networking; Python and Visual Basic; Cable TV (CATV) technology; Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and interact professionally with the customer through written and verbal communication; Experience in automation using scripting languages such as Python, Shell, Batch, or Linux commands; and Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Project), report preparation, and data analysis. Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field, and at least eighteen (18) months of experience as an Electrical Engineer or related occupation.
