Program Management Executive. Focus area is strategic and regional missiledefense and enterprise information systems operations. Responsible for thesuccessful technical, schedule, and cost performance of a major program($1B+) through deputy program managers, task area leaders, chiefengineers, and project managers in accordance with contract requirements andcompany policies, procedures and guidelines. Acquires follow-on businessassociated with areas of responsibility and supports new business developmentby leading major proposals personally, or through subordinateprogram/project mHas supervisory and developmental responsibilities within the functional area.The program director manages one or more projects or programs, may manage anoperating office, and supervises professional and technical personnelperforming in their customary disciplines. Maintains aggressive efforts toachieve service level objectives.Leads as an executive level Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the deliverydomain for strategic and regional missile defense support services. Preferfamiliarity with the mission information and telecommunications landscapeincluding laboratory environments. Familiarity with ground and flight testsand simulations is helpful.Responsible for all phases of the program budget. Performs analysis forcontract reviews with various software. Develops Quality Assurance Programsfor all products and services. Assign staff and provide technical direction asnecessary to complete task. Monitor contract, subcontract, and funding;prepare forecasts of program financial performance. Develop and deliverrequired contract, departmental, project and/or financial reports.Manages a diverse workforce and problem sets, geographically dispersed;likely to travel (30%) to support the 24x7x365 global operation.Monitors, manages, and corrects performance and delivery issues andproblems across multiple large and small business sub-contracts (and taskorders) with a sense of urgency.
Qualifications
21+ years of experience, with 10+ proven people management experience.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a minimum withProgram Management (PgMP) a plus.A masters degree in engineering or business is an acceptable substitute forPMP/PgMP.
Target Salary Range
$229,000 - $366,000. This represents the typical salary range for thisposition based on experience and other factors.
