A Brief OverviewThe Senior Director of Workforce Management is a leadership role that will oversee optimization strategies and execution of enterprise scheduling and staffing, time and attendance, absence management, analytics, and productivity managed within CHOP's Workforce Management Solutions. This role will lead a cross functional governance council represented by Nursing, Human Resources, Finance, Digital Transformation Services, and other departmental leaders to implement and monitor workforce management best practices for continued improvement that align with organizational goals and objectives.
What you will doDevelop, implement, and monitor workforce management optimization strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, alignment, and overall performance of the organization.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure workforce management performance, utilization, and opportunities for improvement.Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies in all workforce management activities.Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of workforce management solutions.Lead cross-functional governance council, represented by Nursing, Human Resources, Finance, Digital Transformation Services, and departmental leader to develop and implement workforce management best practices that align with organizational goals, objectives, policies, and legal and regulatory requirements.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and understands their needs when developing solution options and priorities.Provide leadership, guidance, and support to workforce management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decisions.Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in workforce management optimization. Education QualificationsBachelor's Degree RequiredMaster's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field Preferred Experience QualificationsAt least seven (7) years in workforce management RequiredAt least three (3) years in a leadership role within a healthcare environment Preferred Skills and AbilitiesProven track record of developing and implementing workforce management optimization strategies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Demonstrated experience with workforce management solutions, preferably UKG (Kronos WFC and/or Dimensions)Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and best practices in workforce management.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks a d manage multiple projects simultaneously.To carry out its mission, CHOP is committed to supporting the health of our patients, families, workforce, and global community.
