Xbox Game Studios (XGS), the organization overseeing first-party global studios and part of the Xbox Division, has an opening for a Senior Director of Studios Business. This role, part of Xbox Game Studios' leadership team, drives the strategy and oversight including licensing, business management, and finance. Reporting to the Head of Xbox Games Studios, this role will also support the Studio leaders. partnering with international leadership in some of the top game studios in the industry.
The Senior Director of Studios Business will offer an extensive set of business development, Merger and Acquisitions (M&A), finance, business management skills, and a history of analytics-driven insights to a leadership team. Partnering with Head of XGS and other leaders to uncover, develop, plan, and optimize operations and strategies for driving our portfolio businesses forward. This role will collaborate extensively across studio business teams, finance, and marketing as well as other stakeholders and organizations to build consensus for, and to implement, programs and initiatives targeted at agreed-upon business objectives.

Responsibilities
Leverage and utilize analytics that drive business outcomes.
Execute programs operationally through to conclusion.
Support operations both domestic and international.
Protect and enable the creative cultures of our studios through best-in-class planning and guidance.
Drive major rhythm of business beats through our studios, including annual budgeting, roadmap planning, licensing strategy.
Develop and drive consensus, leveraging teams and initiatives across our global organization.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 8+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
OR equivalent experience.
5+ years of general management experience in a data rich analytics driven business, responsible for both people management and business management including working with partners across international borders.
5+ years of experience in contract negotiations.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 10+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
OR Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 7+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
OR equivalent experience.
5+ years experience in entertainment, or gaming industry preferred.
Business Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $124,800 - $266,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $159,000 - $292,200 per year.
