The Senior Director of Originations is responsible for leading the funding efforts in building thriving communities. This leader is tasked with driving originations, managing relationships and transactions. The primary focus is on attracting top sponsors to the organization and ensuring they receive prompt funding, surety of execution, and an exceptional experience. This is achieved through the leadership of an exceptionally trained team dedicated to our mission of funding the construction of one million attainable homes.
What you have already achieved: (Requirements)
Extensive experience in leading origination for private credit/direct lender background
Direct multifamily real estate experience
3+ years banking experience
Experience providing both debt & subordinate capital, equity / mezz lending
What you are great at: (Responsibilities)
Build deep knowledge across finance/lending platform.
Complete clear transaction pipelines and reporting.
Lead all lending/finance operations, transaction management, closings, servicing.
Lead sales team leadership, training, management, and development.
Lead operations, closings, and post closing departments.
Support product development.
Lead implementation of automation and technology through the sales, operations, and closing departments.
Deliver our brand promises - speed, surety of execution, wow experience.
Deliver Speed with Precision (loan closing, statements, draw processing, etc).
Protect the company from internal and external risks and threats.
Serve as Portfolio Manager of the DLP Lending Fund.
Act as voting member of Credit Committee.
Lead daily huddles, weekly L10s, and weekly sales trainings.
Provide monthly strategic plan and performance update to CEO.
Complete loan product pricing and guidelines every 30 days and provide recommendations.
