  JOB REQUIREMENTS: Senior Director, Global Quality - 25645DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: ABOUT THE ROLE The Senior Director, GlobalQuality is focused on developing and executing against a global qualitystrategy which empowers the organization to protect the trust of ourconsumers and brands and win in the market. This position will build thecapability cross functionally to anticipate risk and prevent qualityissues by developing expertise, standards in quality technologies anddriving robust new product development (NPD) qualification across theend-to-end supply chain. This role will drive prevention relatedprograms that will mitigate process and product failure and provideglobal quality personnel with a toolkit of standards and programs thatwill aid in continuous improvement initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES *Establish, implement and communicate a strategic global quality visionwhich aligns the organization to protect the trust of our consumers andbrands, and enables SCJ to win in the market. * Provide over-site andensure sustained performance against the Quality Management System *Build trust and credibility with key stakeholders and cross functionalleadership teams at all levels of the organization * Partner withProduct Supply, RD&E and Technical Services to improve the NPD processand use critical thinking to drive risk-based decisions that enable SCJto deliver quality product on time and on cost that win in the market *Continually assess, build and develop the capability of the globalquality team members to properly support the business and ensureindividual career growth opportunities and succession planning forcritical quality roles across the globe. * Provide guidance anddirection for managing high impact Product Incident Investigations,Near-Miss programs, and potential Customer Service impacting issues *Challenge the quality organization to innovate, adopt best practices anddrive prevention related programs that deliver on Cost of Qualityreduction initiatives, and enable breakthrough performance globally *Empower the Global COE, Regional Quality Directors & Supplier/3PMQuality engineering teams to globally implement quality strategies andstandards * Communicate and reinforce successes in improved qualitymeasurements and scores across the organization as well as to keyexternal audiences and stakeholders Equal Opportunity Employer Thepolicy of the Company is to ensure equal opportunity for all qualifiedapplicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion,gender, marital status, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry,age, gender identity, gender expression, disability, citizenship,pregnancy, veteran status, membership in any active or reserve componentof the U.S. or state military forces, genetic history or information orany other category protected by law. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE ANDQUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU\'LL BRING * 10+ years ofincreasing responsibility and experience in quality and/or engineeringin a global manufacturing environment. Preferred meaningful assignmentsin manufacturing, engineering, and/or manufacturing quality withincompanies recognized for achievement of best practices in leanmanufacturing/execution * Inclusive leader with 5+ years of peoplemanagement experience * Global acumen and familiarity withmulti-cultural diversity * Strong emphasis on quality tools (such asFMEA, FTA, QFD, SPC, Six Sigma, etc.) PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS* BS in Scientific Discipline; Engineering or Chemistry * MBA *Ability to lead through influence, manage ambiguity, and demonstratemanagerial courage to deliver against business objectives. * Awell-rounded businessperson with strong organizational savvy, whopartners effectively with cross functional stakeholders to earn respectand trust at all levels of the organization. * Strong communicationskills - both writt n and oral.
