  Description:

  Walmart Connect (WMC) is Walmart's media and advertising platform, uniquely designed to help brands reach hundreds of millions of shoppers across their entire shopping journey, online and in stores. As a fast-growing brand and business within Walmart, the Fortune 1 company, we are poised for continued growth and success.

  WMC is looking for a senior-level B2B marketer with media industry (and/or retail media) to help build a scaled marketing practice to support our growing third party (3P) seller, emerging advertiser and API partner business.

  The focus: Lead the marketing strategy and execution to drive acquisition of new advertisers and partners, nurture growth and performance, and drive ad spend amongst 3P Sellers and API/Ad tech partners globally (focus in US & China).

   Key responsibilities include:

  Strategy Development: Design & execute a comprehensive full funnel marketing strategy to accelerate education, adoption and performance for Walmart Connect ads Onsite Search & Display, Offsite DSP, Instore, etc. - among 3P Sellers and API/Ad tech partners globally.Includes (but not limited to) webinars, email campaigns/drip campaigns, social media, Industry activations and events & content marketing (i.e., product training, videos, case studies, marketing collateral, pitch decks, thought-leadership)Oversee content creation, and drive content innovation to deliver superior engagementInfluence strategic direction by presenting high quality data-driven recommendations to leadership

  Segmentation & Targeting: Build a customer-centric communication strategy that is segmented, contextual, and scalable.Develop a deep understanding and segmentation of customers through data & analytics.

  Partner Enablement: Create tools and resources to empower API partners to maximize their use of our services and features, and to amplify our message among their constituents

  Collaboration: Act as a strategic partner to the business / sales leads your internal clients from Partner Development, Marketplace Ad Sales, and Emerging Sales.Influence the product/ technology roadmap to build/ improve marketing infrastructure (tools, data, channels) necessary to accelerate demand & measure effectivelyNurturing key relationships for crucial collaboration for both strategic inputs and executional support, including executive leadership, sales, product marketing, brand marketers, in-house creative services, corporate communication, event managers, Training & Enablement and more.

  Data Analysis: Utilize data & analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns and tactics.Own cadenced business reporting

  Team Leadership: Lead a healthy and positive team culture - Implementing plans to coach, motivate and develop individuals on the team-with clarity on personal goals and growth plansHelp the team to prioritize and shift focus when required in a fast paced start up environment.

  Budget Management: Managing annual budget for your marketing verticals, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to meet business objectives.

   Requirements:

  15+ years of experience working in full-funnel B2B marketing and leading a team.Extensive knowledge of digital media landscape and AdTechProven experience in building and executing Marketing strategies, with emphasis on scaled marketing and lead generation & CRM/Lifecycle marketingExperience dealing with results, metrics and data management and a desire to create and build new teams, tools and processesBest-in-class communications skills: verbal, written, and storytelling.Strong relationship-building and internal client management. Skilled at navigating a highly-matrixed organizations.Ability to glide seamlessly between multiple work streams with ease.Ability to be thorough and thoughtful while still maintaining a very fast pace.Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities. Excited to own and build a nascent program within Walmart Connect that will be an area of continued growth and focus

  Preferred Qualifications

   Location:

  Preferred Hoboken, NJ (NYC area) Alternative - will consider San Bruno or Los Angeles, CA Hybrid Schedule, in the office 3 days a week (this is not a remote/virtual position

  Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities.   Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

  Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

   Minimum Qualifications...

  Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field and 4 years' experience in marketing or related field OR 7 years'

  experience in marketing or related field.

  1 year's supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional projects.
