Content Service Metrics and Analysis Team is responsible for global msn (https://www.msn.cn/zh-cn, Microsoft content service) business growth by driving insights from big data (400TB per day) and models, by providing an AB Experimentation System built on big data with computations on platforms like spark and cosmos, and by building an E2E monitoring system on metrics with common auto analysis functions like abnormal detection, prediction, metrics movement, correlation and etc. You will also have a chance to use LLM for embedding, tooling and etc. to speed up your analysis with bigger impacts. Overall, we provide an E2E service to facilitate msn business growth based on data, models, insights, monitoring and experiments.
Responsibilities
Design and provide metrics for a north star guidance on business growth.
Build intelligence on big data to power MSN business like providing E2E solution for user cohort / personalization for product growth.
Build common analysis system to explain metrics movements on experiments and dashboards, to detect abnormal points with explainable reason and to evaluate real impacts from experiments.
Embrace LLM in Microsoft to facilitate your analysis.
Work closely with product managers and feature software engineers in global to embed your insights into products.
Qualifications
• Passion on big data and analytics
• Solid coding and analytical skills including good knowledge on ML models.
• Good communication skill, fluent in English (both oral and written)
• Experience in developing large-scale distributed system is a plus
• Experience in A/B Testing System is a plus
