Description:

　　The Senior Cost Accountant reports to Project Managers/Supervisors and performs cost accounting duties and assists in assuring that contractual requirements are fully documented and met. The Senior Cost accountant will be required to manage, develop, and support field cost accountants across multiple project sites.

　　Manage and develop field cost accountants supporting multiple projects sites

　　Perform a variety of general clerical tasks such as typing, filing, faxing, duplicating, and answering telephones

　　Prepare and reconcile contractor daily cost reports (EPA Form 1900-55) using the EPA Removal Cost Management System (RCMS) on EPA projects and/or Daily

　　Reports on private projects.

　　Prepare and update the project burn schedule

　　Procure materials and subcontract services as needed at the worksite, initiate subcontract agreements and purchase orders

　　Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed

　　Bring problems to the attention of the Project Manager, Response Manager, Foreman, Safety Director or HR Manager

　　Minimum Requirements:

　　5+ years of experience in Cost Accounting

　　Must have experience with either MS Project or Primavera (P6)
