We are looking for an experienced Cost Analyst in the Clackamas area!

　　What You'll Be Doing:

　　Analyze various costing records and ensures cost data is allocated correctly.

　　Analyze and expense unique work in process (WIP) projects.

　　Prepare and oversee annual WIP audit.

　　Reconcile various balance sheet accounts relative to inventories and accounts.

　　Produce cost analysis for contract proposals.

　　Performs monthly revenue budget verses actual variance analysis, researching and explaining large variances.

　　Prepares and implements internal audit procedures, works as liaison with external auditors.

　　Performs quarterly obsolescence reserve analysis, monitoring aging inventory.

　　Inventory forecasting

　　Prepares and implements annual cycle count schedule reset.

　　Ensures compliance with month end cut off of production, shipping and receiving activities.

　　Monitor and comment on inventory levels and fluctuations by product line.

　　Maintains standard cost schedules.

　　Maintains interaction with all departments on costing and inventory issues.

　　Participates in annual audits and inventories. Assures timely month-end close.

　　Supervises small team of direct reports.

　　Produces weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports to analyze data, providing insightful information to finance and operations.

　　Develops new reports as needed to ensure business leaders have the information needed to make good business decisions.

　　Oversee the valuation and reconciliation of inventory, ensuring alignment with production and sales activities.

　　Monitory budget performance, investigate discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.

　　Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures.

　　Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

　　Assist in the preparation or internal and external audits related to cost accounting.

　　What You Need:

　　Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field and four years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.

　　In depth knowledge and experience in adherence of Sarbanes Oxley compliance.

　　Solid understanding of GAAP.

　　Proficient in cost accounting software and ERP systems.

　　Experience producing monthly reports by pulling, manipulating, and analyzing data from ERP system.
