Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Controller Cargill Agricultural Supply Chain Germany is responsible for providing insight and assurance on the financials of the CASC business. In this role, you will contribute to the continuous process improvement on management reporting, report standardization and rationalization and you will develop and implement action plans on business performance optimization. Business partnering is a key part of the role, working closely with the shared service center and provide support on complex topics and changes.
Key Accountabilities
Review and sign off financial reporting (US and local GAAP, etc.) with Finance Operations, ensuring reporting reflects business activities and drives insight and necessary action.
Contribute and implement continuous process improvement, including simplifying and optimizing process, improving data integrity, and leveraging current technology.
Conduct initial analysis and interpret the results to the business.
Collaborate on corporate budgeting process and forecasting for management reporting.
Promote control mindset within business and collaborate to ensure strong control framework execution.
Work with various teams on implementing new local or US GAAP driven standards and requirements.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Advanced data analytical skills for using spreadsheets or business intelligence tools.
Experienced leveraging financial and business systems to monitor business activities and aid in decision making.
Experienced working with multiple businesses or international business experience.
Minimum of four years of related work experience in Record to Report processes or Controlling.
Proven experience with local and International (IFRS and US GAAP) reporting.
Fluent English and German.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in finance or accounting.
Solid experience with SAP & other accounting technology applications.
Experience with Mark to Market commodities and Forex would be an advantage.
Experience in working with multiple stakeholders and finance shared service centers.
Demonstrated ability to operate in culture of continuous improvement, process optimization, and intellectual curiosity.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Demonstrated change agility – demonstrate openness to new approaches and ideas.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and ability to influence others
