To create specific communication network drawings, PLC I/O drawings, point to point wiring diagrams and back pan and communication cabinet layouts for SCADA systems.
Produce and check communication network drawings.
Produce and check point-to-point wiring diagrams from electrical controls devices cut sheet information.
Enter bills of materials on project by project basis.
Enter new parts in Agile.
Create electrical controls communication cabinet layout drawings for manufacture by third party vendors.
Assist with and help solve problems with other engineering personnel.
Requirements
Associate degree, in Electrical, Mechanical, Technology or related area.
Minimum 5 years of experience
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
Basic computer skills using Word, Excel, & Outlook.
Ability to order material electronically.
Basic Drafting/CAD skills Autodesk Vault a plus.
Basic understanding of communication/electrical theory.
Able to read, interpret, and modify; electrical symbols, characters, and drawings.
Able to read MFG equipment data sheets and verify compatibility with new projects.
Create simple wiring diagrams.
Transmit technical drawings.
Update drawings per engineering and/or customer markups with direction from engineering personnel, and transmit drawings to shop and customer.
Attend in house and outside training sessions.
Learn policies and procedures, work instruction, ISO policies, Safety Rules and Regulations, and vendor products.
Able to create schematics from MFG manuals and wiring diagrams.
