This position will also be responsible for supporting the other support organizations' indirect procurement activities. This position contributes to enhancing the success of these areas by limiting the overall risks and liability associated with supplier sourcing, pricing, evaluating, negotiating, performance and delivery of equipment, materials, completion of services and/or construction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence and flexibility with confidence, and an ability to interface with suppliers, consultants, management and colleagues in a professional, and proactive manner. The Senior Contract Administrator collaborates with the other support organizations to coordinate the review of client contracts and provides negotiation support when required.ResponsibilitiesInitiate and manage procurements for indirect spending from pre-award to post-award with a focus on sourcing and cost.Interface with support organizations to obtain the required supporting documentation and ensure procurement requirements are met prior to award.Establishing and maintaining internal/external customer and supplier relationships.Participate in market research to identify potential suppliers for competitive bidding if required.Prepare and manage activities such as Requests for Proposals (RFP), Request for Proposals/Quotes (RFP/Q), and Express of Interests (EOI).Draft procurement summaries/basis for awards.Perform cost and/or price reasonableness.Negotiate pricing and other terms and conditions with potential suppliers.Issue subcontracts or other forms of agreements to suppliers.Maintain complete and accurate procurement files and records.Monitor and expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery.Verify receipt of items or completion of services and resolve shipment errors with suppliers.Approve payment for goods and services by reviewing invoices and subcontracts/agreements.Perform subcontract closeouts in a timely manner.Train support organizations on the indirect process and procedure requirements.Stay abreast of current commercial and government contractingPerform other procurement duties that may
