Job Overview
The Clinical Research Coordinator Senior is responsible for participating inthe day-to-day operations of assigned clinical research programs and/orstudies conducted by Principal Investigators (PIs) at the University ofColorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Performs a variety of administrative andoperational duties involved in the collection, compilation, documentationand review of clinical research data. Supports the achievement of researchprogram and/or study objectives. Leads others in navigating the clinicalresearch environment and participates in a variety of departmental and/ordivisional initiatives. Provides oversight to Clinical Research Coordinatorsand other related team members. Works under general supervision.We are looking for a motivated, highly organized, team-oriented person tojoin our Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Research Team here at Children'sHospital Colorado! The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children'sHospital Colorado has one of the best pediatric hematology, oncology(cancer care) and bone marrow transplant programs in the country. We treatkids, adolescents and young adults from birth through mid-20s with cancerand non-malignant blood disorders. The BMT program is one of the mostexperienced pediatric bone marrow transplant programs in the country. Our teamis the region's most experienced pediatric blood and marrow transplant andcellular therapy (BMT) program. We have performed more than 1,100 bonemarrow transplants and have a growing cellular therapy program offering new,effective and less toxic therapies for a variety of diseases. We're using itto pioneer treatments with the hope of eradicating childhood disease andchanging pediatric medicine - giving all kids a chance at a healthier future.Our extraordinary team at Children's Hospital Colorado is creating thefuture of child health, and we need top talent to do it. Department: CCBD Research BMT ResearchHours per week: 40, eligible for benefitsShift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. Hours may vary based ondepartment needs. Once onboarding is completed, this position may have theflexibility to be a hybrid role.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of clinical research relatedexperience is required.Equivalency: Minimum of six (6) years of clinical research relatedexperience may be considered in lieu of minimum education and experiencerequirements.Certification(s): Designation as a Certified Clinical ResearchCoordinator (CCRC) or Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP)is required within six (6) months of hire. Certification in Basic LifeSupport for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association isrequired at the time of hire.
