Ideally this position would be located in the Mountain or Western time zones and located near any BC office in the West, with a preference for Reno, Denver, Boise, Phoenix, or Salt Lake City.Detailed Description:Primary responsibilities will include working directly with clients and growing business by providing solid technical solutions and high-quality work products for our mining clients. Specifically, we are seeking a candidate with a proven track record of serving clients directly and executing and managing environmental projects for private clients in the mining sector. In this role you will work closely with strong technical experts throughout the nation and utilize resources throughout the company.Job Responsibilities:* Project Delivery. Serve as a senior civil engineer for mining sector projects of varying size and scale. Manage BC multi-disciplinary resources to deliver service and products across multiple projects. Work with subcontractors to deliver projects on schedule and on budget. Ensure that BC's project delivery system is applied to provide high-quality services and deliver exceptional work products.* Client critical success factors. Leverage existing BC client relationships to develop and maintain a deep understanding of the client's critical success factors as well as the overall BC organization (including the various departments and employees).* Strategic Growth. Work with private BC Subject Matter Experts and partners throughout the nation to identify new client future needs and respond appropriately to client future strategic goals and market conditions. This role will have the opportunity to mentor a growing group of junior professionals, helping us to better serve our clients and realize more growth opportunities for our staff's professional career.* Leadership. Coordinate with other company leaders to help achieve company goals.* Visibility. Promote BC's external exposure through support of selected regional and/or national conferences and committees.* Health and Safety.
