Cascade Vacation Rentals, LLC, Lutsen, MN, needs 8 temporary (04/01/24 12/01/24) and full-time Housekeepers to work at various jobsites in Cook County, Minnesota. Perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain private household or commercial establishments, such as hotels and homes in a clean and orderly manner. Duties may include making beds, removing, cleaning and replenishing linens, vacuuming, cleaning rooms and halls. No experience or educational requirements. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Must be able to obtain a valid driver s license and have a clean driving record. OJT provided. $19.00p/h, overtime wage rate of $28.50, overtime may be available but is not guaranteed, general schedule of 40h/w, 9:00am-5:00pm, workdays vary Sun-Sat. At the employer s sole discretion, applicants may be offered higher than the advertised wage or possibly an end-of-season bonus, due to factors including experience, merit, attendance, attitude, and/or skill. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid on a bi-weekly basis. The employer will make all deductions from workers paychecks that are required by law. The employer will provide optional housing accommodations from a third-party if relocating for the position and not within reasonable transport to jobsite. If employer-arranged housing is utilized the worker will be deducted approximately $425 per month. If workers request and receive a pay advance, that amount will later be deducted from their paycheck. If relocating for the position, the cost of transportation and subsistence to the place of employment will be reimbursed, if half of the employment period is completed. This reimbursement will be calculated by the exact cost of the transportation expenses by airplane or bus fare, as well as subsistence expenses calculated at the minimum amount of $15.46 per 24-hour period of travel and the maximum amount of $59.00 per day. Return transportation and subsistence will be provided if the employment period is completed, or if dismissed early. The employer will provide daily transportation to and from the jobsite or will provide workers with a company vehicle to drive to and from company headquarters and various jobsites where housekeeping duties are performed. The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees that are to the benefit of the employer. All tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job will be provided to workers at no charge.
