　　Scope of role:

　　This position will lead business development of our Supply Chain. The ideal candidate uses data gathering and analyzing skills along with sound judgement to make key, business-impacting decisions while also providing recommendations for functional enhancements through the continuous improvement process.

　　Responsibilities

　　Plan and execute procurement of raw materials from domestic and international suppliers with a focus on 80’s suppliers

　　Maintain strong working relationships and communications with manufacturing and key suppliers to confirm production/shipping schedules and monitor open purchase orders to ensure on-time deliveries with full quantity

　　Proactively report product and material availability issues

　　Coordinate inventory planning and replenishment of raw materials and components in conjunction with our program management teams

　　Analyze and manage MRP, Source list

　　Revise and mange Banjo Purchasing PFEP (Plan for Every Part) to ensure the JDE system is effectively planning future requirements

　　Inventory Management: Support reporting, inventory parameters and reduction of obsolescence exposure

　　Supplier Management: RFQ, Cost saving initiatives, Negotiations, Supplier relationship/evaluation, Supplier Scorecards

　　Project management: Project Manage new product launch with all material suppliers

　　Provide support to Customer Service, Sales team, Product Management and Safety with business and product strategy

　　Participate and contribute to monthly SIRI (significant inventory reduction items) program management & metrics, S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process

　　Manage all Consignment/VMI programs execution

　　Complete special projects and assignments as requested

　　Requirements:

　　Minimum of 3-5 years of Buying and procurement experience

　　Proficiency in relevant computer applications, Microsoft Office, JD Edwards, Oracle/Demantra preferred

　　Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Supply Chain required

　　CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) Preferred and/or APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management) preferred
