Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (MEF)
Bowhead seeks a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to support our Marine Expeditionary Force G-2 Intelligence Operations Center Support Services contract in CampLejune, NC.
Responsibilities
Reviews data to produce finance and market intelligence reports
Responsible for designing, developing, testing and deploying ETL applications using Informatica.
Consult with business unit management and personnel to gather information about data integration and warehousing needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements.
Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs. Write and maintain technical specifications.
Analyze and estimate feasibility, costs, time and compatibility with hardware and other programs. Develop and maintain plans outlining steps and time tables for developing programs.
Data modeling, ETL and universe design/creation.
Proven expertise in master data management, data structures, scalability and optimum methods for designing data sets to support analytics and report creation.
Proven expertise in transforming complex data sets into useable reports and/or dashboards.
Proven expertise in Configuration, Administration and Data Integration in various database environments and set ups.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science; IT; Business Operation or related field.
Five to ten (5-10) years relevant experience which includes a minimum of 5 years’ experience developing ETL mappings and work-flows.
Specifically should be experienced in the following: Informatica PowerCenter v9.5 and/or v9.6 Data Warehouse Architecture Design, ECMF Data Modeling (AOC, Manpower, Ships Maintenance Data), SAP Business Objects Dashboard Design and Inform-21
Expertise in designing and developing, performance monitoring and tuning of ETL processes using Informatica.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Expertise in data conversion applications
Experience with SQL Server
Experience with Informatica Data Services
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must maintain security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level. U.S. Citizenship required for Top Secret/SCI clearance access.
