The Senior Business Development Manager will prepare a strategic business planto achieve the growth targets in the region focusing on implementingstrategies to grow Testing and Lab Services PFAS Solutions, Consulting &Engineering projects and other large corporate QA programs. Providesdemonstrations of the value added to customer's QAQC programs using ERA'scomprehensive portfolio of environmental standards, reference materials andinformatics system. Developing opportunities for existing and potential newproducts, while maintaining customer happiness and dedication are paramountto this position. This position is also responsible for capturing market andcompetitor information and communicating that data to the sales and marketingteam to support the company's growth strategies. The positionresponsibilities include delivering technical presentations at conferences orstakeholders' meetings. The desired candidate is a self-starter indeveloping and implementing a strategic business plan to identify, developand secure new business within the assigned accounts and markets.
Responsibilities
Develop and meet sales and profit goals in line with company objectivesDevelop and implement strategic business plan for territory and reportquarterlyPassionately develop new prospects and penetrate driven accountsCultivate relationships with key regulatory and regional opinion leadersSupport seminar, conference, and customer meetings in the territory byproviding product and sales tools demonstrations to improve the customerexperienceProvide accurate and timely forecast, sales critical metrics and competitivedataEnsure the voice of customer is represented in feedback shared with sales andmarketing leadershipFully use and apply our sales contact management tools and applicationsRaise issues to appropriate departments to ensure that corrective action istakenDevelop business through a monthly plan of actionTravel as needed to drive growthPerform other tasks as requiredIndicated Performance Measures:Performance against orders, reven e, and discountsForecast and market trend input accuracyRegular and timely submission of required reportsMeasurement of Qualified Sales Leads for new businessKOL partnershipsDevelop and implement sales action plans

4-7 years of relevant Technical and Commercial sales experienceA shown detailed track record in salesBachelor of Science or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Life Science orrelated technical subject areaLC/MS/MS and PFAS experience preferredDirect experience with environmental US EPA Method and working with Commercial
