JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Summit Credit Union is seeking a Sr.Business Credit Analyst to join our dynamic team at our West Bendlocation! This individual willbe responsible for analyzing cash flow and financial statements,participating in the preparation of credit presentations for businesslenders and loan committee review, and monitoring and reviewing existingbusiness loans in conjunction with business lenders. Essential Functions Credit Analysis Perform cash flow andfinancial statement analysis. Categorize and use business memberinformation to interpret financial and specific industry trends.Collaborate with business lenders to evaluate overall risk and establishcredit worthiness of business members, joining them in meeting with themember if necessary to gain insight and information. Providerecommendations on loan structure and covenants. Collaborate withbusiness lenders to develop credit memos and presentations for review bylending officers with the appropriate authority and/or loan committee.Maintain on-going communication with business lenders on the loanstatus. Conduct appraisal reviews and update credit memos andpresentations as needed. Under the direction of the VP - BusinessCredit, will help further the development and training of the BusinessCredit Analyst. In the absence or under the direction of the VP -Business Credit, will review all MBL analysis and write-ups prior tosubmission for approval. Portfolio Monitoring Monitor existing loans forcompliance with loan covenants. Monitor borrowing bases and constructiondraws. Work with business lenders to complete annual reviews andrenewals for existing credits. Collaborate with business lenders toassign appropriate risk ratings to new and existing loans and identifyany deterioration or change in business member capacity to meet theterms of the loan contract and related covenants. Assist businesslenders in reviewing loans that have become delinquent or are otherwisedetermined to be on our watch list, and make recommendations formodification and/or restructure when appropriate. Member serviceIdentify opportunities to provide additional advice or information tobusiness members through the underwriting process and share insightswith the assigned business lender. Consistently meet or exceedestablished turnaround times for completing analysis of new loans andthose that are up for renewal.
