As a Senior Audit Associate,you will: Perform audits, reviews, compilations, andagreed-upon-procedures for schools, not-for-profit entities,municipalities and commercial entities Plan engagements, performfieldwork, prepare financial statements and required reports formanagement and regulating agencies, perform other non-audit accountingservices, and preparation of tax returns (if applicable) Travel to/fromengagements, which includes some overnight travel as needed Familiarizeyourself with and use of the firm\'s research tools Prepare and reviewForm 990s Support the growth of co-workers through answering questionson/teaching firm policy, accounting procedures, and software Superviseassociates on engagement teams and function as an in-charge facilitatingfield work by monitoring and reporting regarding productivity andadherence to work plan schedules on each assignment Minimal overnighttravel Our ideal candidate will have: Bachelor\'s degree in accountingor finance, with CPA or CPA eligibility Two to five years of similar orrelated experience Exceptional communication skills Strong multi-taskingskills Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles(GAAP) Proficiency with PC, including spreadsheets, word processing, andautomated accounting packages Enjoy the great benefits at Hawkins AshCPAs such as generous PTO; 401k match; health, dental, vision, and lifeinsurance; wellness programs; flexible work-life balance; and so muchmore!
