About the role: Responsible for working with Cardiology franchise teams to develop high impact marketing and business strategies, focusing on the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM), Cardiac Diagnostics, and Electrophysiology (ablation) businesses This individual contributor will be an expert on the points of view and process for understanding the global marketplace, identifying market trends and growth opportunities, diagnosing customer needs, behaviors, perceptions, and drivers, and leveraging insights to guide business strategy and tactics. This position is based out of our Arden Hills, MN location with a hybrid work mode. Your responsibilities will include: Conducts market and product opportunity assessment, strategy formulation and valuation for new products developed in-house, potential acquisitions, growth opportunities/performance improvement strategies for existing businesses Builds strong relationship development/collaboration with upstream and downstream marketing resources, as well as a broad set of other stakeholders. Strategic Consultation & Project Development: Develops and implements practical, fact-based approaches to strategy development, valuation, and business plans. Analytics: Utilizes strong analytical and quantitative skills to integrate broad corporate/divisional business performance needs into franchise level decision-making. Leverage primary research along with analysis of third-party sources to assess and summarize market trends, sales data, and voice of customer (VOC) to outline key findings and develop actionable recommendations. Advisory Boards: lead/influence agenda development, customer and presenter selection, content creation and presentations for advisory boards and other internal meetings as needed, particularly with healthcare professionals. Experience presenting and moderating discussions required. Collaborates with marketing and sales to ensure tactics are clearly linked to strategy, and creatively developed with overall strategy in-mind Project management. Vendor management: Conducts and/or directs vendors in market analysis and research to answer senior management questions about the business. Influences organizational thinking on Marketing Excellence Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Engineering or Healthcare/Biomedical as well as 4+ years of professional related experience Experience with analysis in Excel and ability to develop market models Must have experience with advisory boards or focus groups, and conducting voice of customer (VOC) in the healthcare field Experience with storytelling; communication through PowerPoint and other channels Interpersonal skills including developing relationships in all levels of the organization and indirectly influencing business objectives Travel: <20% (including international) Preferred qualifications: MBA or other advanced degree Experience in management consulting, business strategy/analytics, investment banking, market trend analysis, product management, and/or upstream, new product development and opportunity assessment experience in the healthcare field Business development experience 4+ years' and medical device industry experience Self-directed individual who proactively identifies and manages opportunities Ability to effectively manage / execute multiple simultaneous tasks Requisition ID:576679 As a leader in medical science for more than 40 years, we are committed to solving the challenges that matter most - united by a deep caring for human life.
