Responsibilities: •Assist the Controller and VP of Finance with the oversight of the accounting, financial reporting and tax functions for a group of private credit funds.•Assisting the VP of Finance in the coordination of any internal or external audits, legal counsel and other service providers.•Assisting the VP of Finance in the coordination with tax service providers.•Assisting the VP of Finance in the coordination with operations and compliance to ensure accurate portfolio reporting.•Responsible for reviewing quarterly trial balance and key supporting schedules, including cash and positions reconciliations. •Responsible for reviewing invoices and internal income and expense schedules. •Responsible for reviewing investor allocations, including capital call and distribution calculations and capital account statements.•Responsible for reviewing distribution waterfall (carried interest) models and management fee calculations, in keeping with the applicable legal terms. •Assisting the VP of Finance and Controller in overseeing quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements.•Responsible for assisting in the preparation and coordination with investor relations for quarterly investor presentations and other ad hoc investor requests. •Assisting in the review of quarterly portfolio valuations, including review of key model inputs.Qualifications:•Five to seven years of public accounting experience (investment company accounting required).•CPA preferred.•Private Credit and/or Private Equity experience strongly preferred.•Exposure to and experience working on fund waterfall/ incentive fee calculations and partner allocations. •Proficient in Microsoft Excel.•Highly organized and detail-oriented individual who is able to get the big picture. •Ability to collaborate with others within the firm as well as work independently. •Ability to take on a new task and own the process from start to finish.•Ability and drive to identify areas for improvement and provide practical solutions/recommendations for improvement. •Exposure to and experience working with investment valuation a plus.Potential Salary: $130,000 - $140,000 USDActual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary on internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
