  KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Federal Government Contracts team.

  Responsibilities:

  Apply a fundamental understanding of federal government contracting to provide administrative oversight for a contract portfolio with a revenue size of at least $25M per year and administer contracts including negotiation, correspondence, documentation, certification, and regulatory reporting in coordination with Contracts organization management

  Review RFPs/RFQs to ensure compliance with terms and conditions, and provide advice and interpretation of contract requirements

  Work collaboratively with various stakeholders and draft contracts related documents for review by Contract Managers and OGC

  Advise leadership and engagement management of contractual rights, obligations and risks; compile and analyze data; maintain historical subcontract information

  Identify opportunities for innovation within executed tasks, processes and projects that contribute to the improved efficiency and effectiveness of the workgroup; maintain and update contract management information systems

  Act as lead for both internal/external data calls

  Qualifications:

  Minimum three years of recent contracting experience in a federal government contracting environment

  Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or relevant work experience; preferable to have industry certifications and membership to/active participation in the National Contract Management Association (NCMA)

  Ability to have significant role within a project, process or program

  Knowledge of multiple solicitation types, contract types, the FAR, and the DFAR

  Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork

  Aptitude to positively influence, mentor and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members; detail oriented and thorough, with effective time management skills
