　　Position Summary

　　This position, whilst being part of the Applied Nutrition Corporate R&D Team and reporting directly to the Head of Applied Nutrition, will be based at our Nestlé Research Centre.

　　Nestlé Research is based in Lausanne, Switzerland, employs approximately 1000 people and is comprised of five Nestlé Institutes: Food Sciences, Health Sciences, Food Safety & Analytical Sciences, Packaging Sciences, and Agricultural Sciences.

　　We are looking for a Senior Applied Nutritionist, as part of recent evolution of the nutrition strategy at Nestlé, to support nutrition-related external commitments, building a strong R&D pipeline and effective implementation of various R&D initiatives, including the corporate nutrition education program.

　　A Day in the Life of a Senior Applied Nutritionist

　　Support the global nutritionist community in implementing Nestlé's evolved nutrition strategy "Good-for-You” in collaboration with the Nutrition & Health network lead

　　Serve as the main point of contact for nutrition-related queries from markets, zones, and categories

　　Ensure quality checks for nutrition data and methodologies, aligning with zones/markets/categories, and preparing for external audits with the Nutrition Data Analytics Lead

　　Lead activities for the corporate nutrition education program

　　Collaborate with Nestlé Research scientists and NPTC nutritionists to develop and deliver innovative and competitive nutrition assets across categories to drive business growth

　　Identify external opportunities and threats, define priorities, and translate them into concrete concepts in the "Good-for-You” R&D pipeline in partnership with Public Affairs

　　Strengthen the R&D nutrition strategy by leveraging internal and external scientific expertise and consumer trends

　　Contribute to peer-reviewed scientific publications, scientific communications, and patents

　　What will make you successful

　　PhD in Nutrition Sciences and expertise in nutrition profiling systems

　　Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a leading role in nutrition research

　　Experience in concept ideation and science translation

　　Deep knowledge of the global product portfolio is a plus

　　Excellent project management skills

　　Highly motivated and independent, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment

　　Strong communication, interpersonal and Stakeholder management skills

　　Good resource, and budget management skills

　　Fluent in English both written and spoken
