They are accountable for ensuring the dayto day operations of the systems under their charge and for supportingand implementing change and configuration management, including testingand defect management relating to new product implementations,development, development releases, upgrades, patches, and other systemmaintenance as required. Application Specialists will work closely withBusiness resources and stakeholders, internal Technology teams, andvarious vendors and third-party consultants and implementers. They mustunderstand their application\'s interdependencies with otherapplications and infrastructure both internally and outside thecorporate network. Ongoing knowledge of current and changing businessand technological environments, trends and strategy is important tosuccess.
