　　JOB TITLE: Senior Application Services Engineer

　　JOB LOCATION: Burlington, Massachusetts 01803

　　REQUIRED TRAVEL: None

　　HOURS: Full-time, Occasional off-hours work (including weekends) are required to perform upgrades in production environments

　　REQUIRED DUTIES:

　　Install and upgrade HealthEdge’s award-winning applications in our private cloud, as well as customer-hosted instances.

　　Work within the HealthEdge Cloud Operations Application Engineering Team to help run and manage application operations for the Company’s clients.

　　Work within the agile HealthEdge Deployment Methodology, while leveraging tools that are used to manage the environments, automation technologies, alerting, and 3 rd party applications.

　　Demonstrates strong knowledge and development expertise in technologies used to run the HealthRules cloud.

　　Identifies knowledge gaps and closes them.

　　Design, implement, and improve the processes and technology.

　　Apply strong working knowledge of major J2EE middleware tier software offerings, such as WebLogic, WebSphere, or JBoss.

　　Perform upgrades in production environments.

　　Perform all job functions consistent with HealthEdge policies and procedures, including those which govern handling healthcare information.

　　EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

　　Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field (foreign equivalent is acceptable) plus 2 years of employment experience in technical application support.

　　Employment experience must include:

　　A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in deployment and system administration

　　A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in major J2EE middleware tier software offerings such as: WebLogic, WebSphere, or JBoss

　　A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in Linux

　　A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in PL/SQL

　　A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in shell scripting
