Reporting to thePrincipal Advisor - Health, Safety, and Security, your responsibilities will encompass:Collaborating with project managers and project teams to implement risk management processes. Supporting various aspects of project health and safety planning activities, including in-field risk management and hazard reduction.Contributing to the development and delivery of health and safety training. Providing coaching and on-the-job health and safety training to project staff.Ensuring that contractor practices at the project level align with Rio Tinto's and statutory health and safety standards and requirements. Offering advice and workplace/on-site collaboration to assist contractors in adhering to health and safety standards and requirements.Assisting project teams in conducting internal audits and inspections of the site, equipment, and materials to ensure safe operations.Conducting investigations into incidents and near misses.
