　　Currently, we are looking for a Senior Accountant - ABF Freight to join the ArcBest team. The Senior Accountant - ABF Freight is responsible for general ledger accounting, preparation of financial statements, financial analysis, account reconciliations, and other special projects.

　　Your contribution may include:

　　Engage in the monthly closing process to ensure timely, complete, and accurate financial statements.

　　Develop, perform, and maintain account analyses, and reconcile various accounts.

　　Assist in the preparation of the monthly and quarterly Board analyses.

　　Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

　　Respond to inquiries and requests from internal and external auditors regarding reported financial data and accounting processes.

　　Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense environment.

　　Other duties and projects, as assigned.

　　As a Senior Accountant - ABF Freight, you will be a member of the ArcBest ABF Financial Accounting team in Fort Smith, AR. Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with irregular hours that may occur depending on workload.

　　Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, required.

　　Experience: Minimum, two years’ experience in Accounting, Finance, or similar job function.

　　Understand rules and regulations of GAAP and SEC.

　　Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Basic knowledge in PC and mainframe computer use and in integrating the two.

　　Certifications: CPA certified or eligible, preferred.
