Senior Accountant

　　Location: North Andover, MA

　　Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Onsite

　　Salary: $100,000 - $120,000

　　Responsibilities:

　　Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing for the business units.

　　Manage various checklists, assist the Controller to help produce error-free financial statements for the business units, in accordance with the corporate month-end closing schedule.

　　Assist with various balance sheet account reconciliations.

　　Manage fixed assets.

　　Record inventory and cost accounting adjustments as needed to reconcile inventory monthly.

　　Create and post adjusting journal entries.

　　Ensure transactions are posted in accordance with US GAAP.

　　Maintain historical financial documentation for auditor review and assist with annual audit.

　　Assist with developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

　　Assist the accounts receivable and accounts payable function as needed.

　　Special projects for the Controller and President as required.

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

　　5+ years of financial accounting and analysis experience.

　　Strong Microsoft excel experience.

　　Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable and inventory.

　　Manufacturing/cost accounting experience

　　Experience with Macola ERP system a plus.

　　Excellent communication skills. Works independently as well as in a team environment.
