This Staff Accountant role's duties will require preparing journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation. The ideal candidate for this position can perform internal reporting during the monthly close, participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes. 　　What you get to do every single day

　　Assist in implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP

　　Produce journal entries and perform the month end close under minimal supervision

　　Regularly maintain and reconcile journal entries

　　Upon request, take part in special projects and impromptu reporting

　　Organize and review a variety of financial data, reporting it in a way that is useful and understandable

　　Intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliation

　　Maintain depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation

　　Become well-versed in month end balance sheet account reconciliations

　　Assemble journal entries and thorough account reconciliations that include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll

　　Manage schedules for capital lease and monthly payments

　　Assemble analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management reporting

　　Play a part in a variety of department-wide initiatives

　　Assist in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparation

　　Requirements - Experience with ERP systems

　　Spreadsheet and database capabilities

　　Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment

　　Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

　　Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines

　　Excellent analytical, quantitative and social skills

　　Strong familiarity with fixed assets

　　Month end closings experience preferred

　　Balance Sheet Reconciliation experience

　　Experience with bank reconciliations

　　Adeptness in analysis

　　GAAP Accounting experience

　　3+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience

　　Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

　　Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

　　BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

　　Mature organizational, written and verbal communication skills
