Summary: This position reports to the Corporate Controller and will be responsible for accounting, reporting and related business processes in the Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Leases and Tax functional areas, as well as partnering with CPC's Germany entity for month-end close and other accounting and tax requirements. Essential Responsibilities: Key role in month-end close, which includes preparation and approval of journal entries and account reconciliations, assisting in consolidation reporting to the Parent Company, and closing the general ledger. Responsible for testing and maintenance of key SOX controls. Responsible for Account Payable, Fixed Assets and Leasing liaison role working closely with business partners and Dover Business Services to release payments, provide analysis on purchase order and invoices, and administrate the capital expenditure review and authorization process. Assist in the preparation of tax related reporting (R&D credit, tax apportionment, tax depreciation reporting, etc.). Work cross-functionally within CPC as well as Dover Business Services to develop and refine process, reporting and communication. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting. At least 3years of experience in an accounting role. Proficient with MS Excel, ERP, and EPM applications. Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform at a high level in a dynamic environment. A self-starter with proven ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization. Well organized and efficient with a strong attention to detail and follows through on execution. Clear, concise and articulate communication skills - verbal, written and listening. Strong team player, work ethic and commitment to the success of the Company. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with Oracle ERP, OneStream EPM. CPA and/or public accounting.
