Description

The Senior Accountant is responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. What you get to do every day:
Prepare monthly reconciliations for Bonus Accounts. Review other reconciliations as needed.
Prepare Gross Receipts tax calculations
Assist with the annual budgeting process.
Review monthly financial reports in Oracle for accuracy and completeness
Perform monthly close procedures; prepare journal entries to ensure accounts and cost centers are accurate and within policy
Requirements
The ideal Senior Accountant candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education. CPA preferred.
Other requirements for the Senior Accountant position include and are not limited to:
5+ years’ work experience in similar role(s) in a Professional Services firm
Strong knowledge of MS Office products, particularly with Excel
Must have demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently as well as being a team member
Strong oral and written communication skills are required along with the ability to effectively interface with external contacts, internal management, and accounting and finance team
