　　General Summary:

　　Reliant Credit union, ranked one of Rochester's top mid-sized workplaces six years in a row, seeks aSenior Accountantto join our team.

　　The Senior Accountant will assist in ensuring the overall accuracy and integrity of financial data and is responsible for advanced general ledger accounts and critical accounting responsibilities. Specific areas of responsibility include accounts payable, fixed assets, contract management, and record retention.

　　As a Senior Accountant at Reliant, you will:

　　Oversees the AvidXchange vendor relationship and maintains the modules for Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and Expense Reimbursement.

　　Administers the Credit Union’s Accounts Payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments and record-keeping.

　　Maintains the Fixed Assets module and depreciation schedules.

　　Processes and reconciles the bi-weekly IRA/backup withholding and prepares and files the annual 945 report.

　　Prepares assigned sections of the quarterly NCUA 5300 reporting.

　　Provides prior-to-close analytical review of G/L accounts with preparation of actual to budget and general ledger variance reporting.

　　Requirements

　　POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

　　Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college or university.

　　Two (2) years of prior experience in an accounting department preferably in a credit union/banking environment or public accounting environment.

　　KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

　　Experience with intermediate level Excel functions; data import; workbook creation, modification and troubleshooting.

　　Intermediate knowledge and understanding of GAAP and accounting principles, terms, and guidelines.

　　Knowledge of General Ledger systems required.

　　Proficient personal computer skills, with knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products required including intermediate level Excel knowledge.

　　Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as but not limited to discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, depreciation, and amortization.

　　Demonstrates strong attention to detail.

　　Demonstrates the ability to identify and problem solve in a timely manner.

　　Ability to multi-task and prioritize while working in a high-volume, rapid pace environment.

　　Ability to act as leader among workgroups, fostering teamwork and cooperative problem-solving.

　　PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

　　Use of keyboard, monitor, telephone, and other standard office equipment.

　　Communicate effectively in person and via telephone, video conferencing, email, and written documents.

　　Lift and move objects up to 20 pounds.

　　Access document equipment and files above and below waist levels.

　　Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.

　　Work a flexible work schedule, which may require early mornings, late evenings, and/or weekends.
