Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Security SME to join our team in the Lancaster, CA area.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
The Security SME focuses on providing subject matter expertise to develop and architect the next generation of cybersecurity.
Responsible for designing, building, and implementing enterprise-class security solutions within a multitenant cloud environment.
Align standards, frameworks, and security with overall business and technology strategy.
Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats.
The Security SME designs security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge.
Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cybersecurity requirements.
Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements.
The Security SME uses current programming language and technologies to write code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications.
Provide expertise in networking, especially routing and switching architectures.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of related experience OR;
HS and 16 years of related experience OR;
Associate’s degree and 14 years of related experience OR;
Master’s degree and 10 years of related experience OR;
PHD and 8 years of relevant experience
Certifications Required:
Must possess a DoD approved 8570 Baseline IAT Level II certificationSecurity Clearance Requirements:
This position requires a current/active U.S. Government Secret clearance.Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
The projected compensation range for this position is $150,700-$250,400. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
