Climax Molybdenum is the world's leading producer of molybdenum and has along, successful history of doing business in a safe, highly efficient andsocially responsible manner. We have operated in Colorado for more than 100years and today have mining and milling operations near Leadville, Kremmlingand Empire. Our Climax mine is located between Frisco and Leadville. OurHenderson mine and mill are an hour's drive apart - separated by theContinental Divide and a 15-mile conveyor system (10 miles isunderground). The Henderson mine is about 50 miles west of Denver and 10miles west of Empire, and the mill is located between Dillon and Kremmling.

　　DescriptionUnder close supervision, the Security Officer performs a variety ofpatrol, security, emergency response and customer service duties atassigned location.

　　Greets and logs in all visitors and vendors at entrance gateNotifies appropriate personnel or department of arrivalDirects visitors and vendors to destinationEnforces company policies and proceduresPerforms frequent patrols of the property-Walks, bicycles, or drives vehicle on irregularly scheduled rounds ofproperty-Observes conditions of equipment, grounds and facilities-Picks up litter or debris as needed, or arranges clean-up withmaintenance crews-Reports damages or areas in need of repair to the Maintenance SupervisorConducts surveillance of locations or areas in which vandalism or criminalactivities have been notedAssists with and trained for emergency situations-Collaborates with police officers in the prevention of crime-Works with fire response units for fire suppression, and with medicalemergency response units in the event of emergency situations, at theassigned locationProvides basic emergency medical response (e.g. performs CPR, givesbasic first aid) when neededPerforms other duties as requiredQualificationsMinimum Qualifications
