Job Skills / Requirements

Sunstates Security is currently hiring for a Security Officer in the NYC, NY area.

Mon Tues

12pm-8pm

$25.00 per hour

Duties:

Following policies and Procedures

Must have level fluency for access control and confirm access credentials for all visitors

Provide an excellent customer service experience

Check in visitors and contractors into facility

Must be able to provide badges to visitors

Communicate with host for any visitors

Effectively manage multiple emails

Be detail oriented and able to maintain established standards and data integrity

Check in deliveries properly

Conduct security patrols on foot

Contact security management regarding any incidents on site

Response to any emergencies and complete incident reports

Monitor property for safety

Demonstrated ability to operate computer systems and fully capable in the google suite

Requirements:

Must be computer literate with the basic computer applications like Word, Power Point, Excel, Sheets, Doc, etc..

Must be a team player and excellent customer service skills

Must have good communication skills

Good typing skills

NYS Security License and CPR Card

Willingness to learn and be adaptable

Perform other tasks as required

Must be able to conduct foot patrols

Great customer service skills

Ability to multi-task across several databases simultaneously

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives. Sun123

Education Requirements (Any)

High School diploma or equivalent

Certification Requirements (All)

NY State Security Guard License
