Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) has provided tailored security solutions throughout the Gulf Coast for nearly 40 years. We provide armed and unarmed security officers to protect commercial businesses and assets. We also perform federal contract security and emergency response work. Our electronics division installs and maintains burglar alarms, fire alarms, and CCTV systems. We also monitor commercial and residential alarm systems. Job Skills / Requirements

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is currently hiring Security Officers in the Lake Charles Area. The Lake Charles Area includes Starks, Moss Bluff, Dequincy, and other nearby areas.

Pay rate $9.00 TO $11.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements:

Willingness and ability to work to a flexible roster, 7 days a week.

Willing to work multiple locations.

Reliable transportation.

Active cellphone.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Clean criminal background.

Ability to pass a drug screen.

Duties:

Observes and verifies all guest for age restrictions.

Reports any security-related incidents, hazards.

Documents nightly operations and files weekly reports.

Schedule:

Day shift 7a - 3p

Night shift 3p - 11p

Overnight shift 11p - 7a

Weekends

Physical and Mental Job Requirements:

Must have effective written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency.

A Security Officer must be able to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances.

A Security Officer must be able to drive a motor vehicle in the course of his/her duties if required.

A Security Officer must be able to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions (e.g., machinery, traffic noise, etc.)

A Security Officer must be able to: Walk, Run, Stand, Climb, Sit.

A Security Officer must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required.

A Security Officer must be in good mental health and be able to make decisions instantly on the event of an emergency.

A Security Officer must meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work. Must be able to obtain the status of license required for the position, either Armed or Unarmed.
