Security Officer

　　Purpose: The Security Officer will participate in maintaining a safe and secure environment.

　　Primary Duties:

　　Answer main phone lines and direct calls to appropriate departments

　　Monitor radio traffic and surveillance equipment

　　Implement applicable emergency policies and programs

　　Monitor and regulate inbound and outbound pedestrian and truck traffic

　　Conduct regular inspection rounds in accordance with company policies

　　Handle outbound express mail and distribute internal mail as needed

　　Open and close confined space entry permits

　　Maintain accurate departmental written records and reports

　　Any other duties as assigned

　　Skill Requirements:

　　Team members must possess good communication and computer skills in order to:

　　Process pick ups and deliveries within the facility.

　　Monitor/control access in and out of the facility with a variety of systems.

　　Assist with emergencies.

　　Conduct rounds, answer phones, and communicate with a variety of departments and personnel on a daily basis.

　　Complete necessary documentation/reporting on a daily basis.

　　Schedule/Pay:

　　1 full-time opening for days on 1st shift (7 AM - 3 PM)

　　Pay starts at $16/hour

　　Requirements:

　　High School Diploma or equivalent; as well as 1 year of security-related experience and/or training

　　Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and background screening.
