　　Security & Fire/Life Safety S ystems Technicians play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our Smart Buildings. You will participate in the installation, programming, start-up, and commissioning of state-of-the-art fire alarm and security equipment, including fire safety, mass notification, detectors, field peripherals, cctv or ip cameras, alarm sensors, access control devices, and software platforms. In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also act as a mentor, providing on-the-job training to less experienced technicians, fostering a culture of growth and knowledge-sharing within our team. 　　As a Security & Fire/Life Safety Systems Technician, you will:

　　Assist with the commissioning of new fire alarm and security systems on construction ensuring seamless integration

　　Assist with testing and inspecting of existing fire alarm and security systems

　　Plan work with mentor, Lead Technician, and Team Leader

　　Complete commissioning within planned timelines

　　Submit accurate time and expense logs

　　Work overtime when needed

　　You will make an impact with these qualifications:

　　Basic Qualifications: 

　　3+ years’ experience installing commercial, integrated security systems

　　Understanding of network components and workstation and server operating system management

　　Must be able to differentiate types/colors of wire; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted

　　Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

　　Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations 

　　Preferred Qualifications: 

　　High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred

　　5+ years’ experience installing commercial fire alarm and integrated security systems

　　Ability to read/understand design and construction documents

　　The pay range for this position is $52290 - $89640 / year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
