Monitor security dashboard alerts toidentify and lead the response and mitigation activities for security events.Implement, maintain, and monitor threat intelligence data from variousresources relevant to Charter's networks and systems. Develop and coordinateimplementation of security countermeasures. Develop and recommend securitypolicies, standards, and configurations to the security governancecommittee. Design and implement system logic to detect security threats. Leadincident response and escalation processes. Perform forensics analysis anddata evidence gathering for all security events. Recommend, design, andimplement security systems and tools used by Network Security Operations andprovide ongoing system support. Develop security requirements for new projectsand perform security testing. Perform and coordinate engagements with thirdparty service providers to perform ongoing security testing on criticalassets. Support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Ensure compliance with security standards, policies and procedures andadhere to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations. Utilizevulnerability remediation tools for reporting including Kenna, Data Lakes,or API outputs; and forensic methodologies to investigate intrusions,preserve evidence, and coordinate unified security response. Manipulate andarrange data and producing reports in Microsoft office tools. Identify andmanage the vulnerability lifecycle. Utilize vulnerability scanning toolsincluding Qualys, Prism Cloud, or Veracode. Protect CharterCommunications' customer facing networks, services, and customers byidentifying IT-related security threats. Focus on security conceptsTCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IP, Telephony, routing and security protocols.Monitor and maintain the operational capability of enterprise levelcybersecurity tools and countermeasures. Build dashboards for measures withforecast, trend line and reference lines. Manage multiple taskssimultaneously and determine priority or ask for clarification fromleadership. Educate Customer Operations and other Charter stakeholders aboutsecurity policies and consults on security issues via various ticketingsystems
Requires Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in ComputerScience, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a relatedfield. 4 years of experience manipulating and arranging data and producingreports in Microsoft office tools. 3 years of experience: with vulnerabilityremediation tools for reporting including Kenna, Data Lakes, or APIoutputs; in identifying and managing the vulnerability lifecycle; and invulnerability scanning tools including Qualys, Prism Cloud, or Veracode. 2years of experience in forensic methodologies to investigate intrusions,preserve evidence, and coordinate unified security response.
