Overview
Under the direction of the Vice President, Corporate Security , working with the Director of Diligence Services, and Facilities Security Officer, this position is responsible for implementing the security and counterintelligence policies and programs for In-Q-Tel which impact our partners, employees, and portfolio companies. Responsible for complying with all security-related matters as described in the IQT Contract and Description of Work (DOW). Alongside the Director of Diligence Services, this position will ensure the Company’s investment security decisions are consistent with our partner’s requirements.
This position will serve as the liaison for companies that IQT is considering investing in for the collection of diligence material related to Foreign Ownership, Control, and Influence (FOCI).
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary POC for coordination with companies that IQT is considering investment in for the collection of diligence material related to Foreign Ownership, Control, and Influence (FOCI)
Execute information-gathering activities to ensure USG partners have the most accurate information on potential portfolio companies to inform investment decisions
Support strategic decisions related to security program
Assist in maintaining a current security plan including all IQT security policies and procedures
Support in enforcing IQT compliance with the corporate security plan, as well as any security requirements imposed by the government contract partner
Ensure compliance with applicable USG security requirements and ensure that all members of the IQT team (employees, contractors, and portfolio companies) are regularly advised of regulations
Assist in responding to, and complying with, all security related requests by the Contracting Officer & COTR
Assist with the management and implementation of physical security safeguards for the protection of personnel and company property including oversight of systems and vendors for alarms and biometrics
Support plans for physical security at outreach events intended for government audiences
Assist with the administration and execution of a comprehensive security education program for all employees and cleared contractors
Qualifications
Current TS/SCI security clearance, active FS poly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 3+ years’ experience supporting DoD or IC security operations; working familiarity with NISPOM and ICD requirements.
Experience with government or contracting work in the area of Foreign Ownership, Control, and Influence (FOCI), Financial Investigations, or Anti-Money Laundering considered a strong plus.
Physical security systems experience considered a plus.
Strong writing, organizational, and analytical skills.
Ability to liaise with C-Suite/Executive-level personnel
