This role will be located in our New York City office, or any major metro office as a part of our Centers of Excellence team.Responsibilities:Participate in the development and implementation of project system security plans based on corporate strategies or regulatory compliance.Provide technical support of security performance, qualifications, and programs on a project level.Conduct threat, risk, and vulnerability assessmentsAssess client security plans, policies, procedures, and program to support the implementation of holistic security programs and implementations.Understand and apply Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) best practices to site designs.Support engineering personnel in the thoughtful application of security measures grounding designs in a risk-based approach to security.Review design drawings for security compliance.Ability to conduct audits related to design, construction or condition assessments based upon established standards and or National/Local code.Interact as a member of a cohesive team.Coordinate and interact on an as needed basis with clients and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or clients and the company.Qualifications:Thorough knowledge of the practices, and procedures of security programs, physical and electronic security engineering design, construction, operation, and maintenance.Knowledge of principles and practices of law enforcement and security programs, applicable local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations governing policies, security, and emergency managementCertified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) required.IAPSC Certified Security Consultant preferred.Minimum of 5 years of corporate or agency security program support or management, law enforcement, or military experience and or a bachelor's degree - Security, Engineering, Business, or another related field; andSecurity, Law Enforcement, or applicable Military Training courses desirable.STV is committed to paying all its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
