As a Microsoft Security Consultant, you will work with our enterprise customers to assess, envision, plan, design and implement security and compliance capabilities and controls which use Microsoft products and industry cybersecurity practices.

Responsibilities
The Microsoft Security Enterprise Services Team is looking for experienced Information Security professionals to join our client-facing Industry Solutions Delivery business. This specific role will partner with our customers to help them develop and deploy solution offerings.
Responsibilities include:
Participates in and/or may lead meetings with customers/partners to understand their business needs and/or scenario they are trying to solve. Uses business, technology, and industry strategies to define customer/partner requirements and constraints. Engages others appropriately to understand and define customer requirements.
Supports project planning and the development of project documents by defining the risks and dependencies. Communicates the business value of planned solutions to customers/ partners with direction/guidance. Implements mitigations of technical and business risks. Manages their schedule and communicates with project leads. Delivers against Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
Implements technical solutions by completing assigned project tasks with defined quality standards and following Industry Solutions processes. Oversees aspects of implementation.
Proactively identifies issues and risks and engages with customers/partners or internal stakeholders (e.g., Project Managers) as appropriate to address and resolve issues.
Learns new technologies or services based on business demands and industry trends. Obtains relevant accreditations and certification(s) as advised by the domain leadership team. Shares experiences, best practices, and product news within the team. Participates in relevant technical communities at Microsoft.
Completes operational tasks and readiness and ensures timeliness and accuracy. Follow Microsoft policies, compliance, and procedures (e.g., Enterprise Services Authorization Policy, Standards of Business Conduct, labor logging, expenses, travel guidelines).
Achieve billable utilization attainment goal. (Currently 1600 billable hours per year).

Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field AND 1+ year(s) work experience in relevant area of businesso OR equivalent experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Effective project delivery and customer-facing relationship skills
Ability to lead conversations as a subject matter expert representing Microsoft products and solutions.
3+ years’ work experience in one or more of the following main areas of solution delivery:
Design and Implementing a Zero Trust Architecture
Identity and Access Management Technologies (Active Directory, Azure AD Security, AD Security, Privileged Access Management, etc.)
Security Operations (Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender Suite of Products, etc)
Securing the Platform (Azure Network, Azure Key Vault, PKI, Certificate Services)
Capability with script development (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
Ability to work across on-premanent Active Directory and Azure Active Directory environments.
Have or is willing to obtain one of the following Certifications within six months of being in role: AZ-500, AZ-104, SC-200.
Technology Consulting IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $74,500 - CAD $140,600 per year.
