Job Summary
The Analyst Security Compliance assesses, communicates, and reduces risk to the organization focusing on identifying risk based on SOAR input, offensive compliance activities, and vendor risk management.
Job Responsibilities
Investigates and determines where threats exist based on input from SOAR solution and Security Operations Center (SOC) team, current policy requirements, and threat hunt information.
Develops offensive compliance strategy and procedures, assisting withwith recommendations for remediation activities.
Works with Information and Cybersecurity team as well as MVH to develop compliance program strategy.
Works with Mars/MVH Vendor Risk & Compliance Teams, along with BluePearl Commercial, on Vendor Risk Assessments (VRM).
Guides organization with new vendors/solutions and ensures completion of VRM with Mars/MVH, as well as revisits those expired from current vendors.
Evaluates the security of vendors and hosted solutions based on approved Mars/MVH Information Security standards.
Determines risk and potential impact based on emerging security threats.
Works with Mars/MVH architects on solutions/platforms that need an Enterprise Architecture/Security Architecture Review.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Security, IT, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experiencerequired.
5+ years’ relevant experience required.
Qualifications
Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
Works under minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, prioritization of work, and problem-solving skills.
Requires in-depth skills and knowledge of the specialized concepts, practices, and procedures in the area of specialization.
Utilizes in-depth knowledge of the specialization as well as business needs to recommend appropriate action.
Working Conditions
Ability to stand or sit at a computer station for long periods of time.
The noise level in the work environment is normally moderate.
Environment where pets are present.
