　　This position works as part of a Global Security team responsible for managing and leading cyber and information security incidents, as well as maintaining the incident management program. This position demands a candidate who is technically hands-on, organized, action-oriented team player with the ability to prioritize daily work and support on multiple initiatives simultaneously; strong communication and customer focus is required.

　　Shift Schedule: The ideal candidate will begin working a day shift from 0900-1800, either from 'Sunday to Thursday' or 'Tuesday to Saturday'. Analysts on each shift will eventually be required to rotate for a 30-day period onto a night shift (2300-0800 IST) for their required weekdays, with premium night pay as appropriate.

　　Due to the nature of the work, you are required to have on-call duties on weekends. The shift timings may change in future as per the team's requirements.

　　Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:

　　• Participate in a 24x7 monitoring capability.

　　• Triage alerts or events of interest quickly.

　　• Identify and ascertain accuracy of alert (true positive, false positive).

　　• Determine initial ticket priority.

　　• Perform actions as documented or escalate to L2/L3 as required.

　　• Update tickets as required.

　　• Produce and dispatch notifications (templates) as required.

　　Qualifications

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　• Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science or a related discipline.

　　• 6 months to 3 years of work experience in IT or relevant Security experience.

　　• Good anticipation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　• Knowledge of the common attack vectors on the network layer, different classes of attacks (e.g., passive, active, insider, close-in, distribution attacks). Knowledge of cyber attackers (e.g., script kiddies, insider threat, non-nation state sponsored, and nation sponsored) and cyber-attack stages (e.g., reconnaissance, scanning, enumeration, gaining access, escalation of privileges, maintaining access, network exploitation, covering tracks).

　　• Knowledge of system and application security threats and vulnerabilities (e.g., buffer overflow, mobile code, cross-site scripting, Procedural Language/Structured Query Language [PL/SQL] and injections, race conditions, covert channel, replay, return-oriented attacks, malicious code).

　　• Advanced training certifications may be advantageous.

　　• The ability to stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices in information security.

　　• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
