The Challenge:

　　The 31st Commandant established the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL) “to serve as the cradle and test bed for the development of enhanced operational concepts, Tactics, Techniques, Procedures (TTPs), and doctrine which will be progressively introduced into the Fleet Marine Forces (FMF) in concert with new technologies.” Over the years, the MCWL structure and mission have evolved. Given the pace and consequence of ongoing technological change, the MCWL must continue to evolve to meet the demands of the future strategic and operational environment. What if you could use your knowledge and experience in security administration to assist with this mission?

　　As a Security Administrator on our team you will perform administration functions related to operating a secured facility, including classified document control, publication distribution, classification management and processing, coordination with Government Task Manger's and the Contractor's Program Manager. You will be expected to provide audit support during the development of software and hardware, conduct preliminary reviews of computer use and make recommendations to management personnel regarding security needs for effective operations, and monitor physical security for conformance to government requirements.

　　Specific duties include:

　　Conduct Classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence

　　Assist in the maintenance of a document accountability database and associated correspondence

　　Perform destruction of classified materials

　　Process magnetic media for accountability

　　Reproduction support for classified materials

　　Maintain various daily logs for a variety of administrative functions associated with document control

　　Assist in the processing of inbound data and outbound data transfer files

　　Maintain an extensive customer database point of contact listing

　　Assist with researching, processing, filing, and maintaining inbound and outbound visit notices

　　Escort facility visitors and maintains associated logs

　　Assist in the preparation of facility access control badges

　　Conduct entry and exit inspections

　　Assist in the maintenance of facility access control entry systems, to include visitor control

　　Assist in maintaining personnel security files for all personnel of the supported element

　　Follow and enforce the customer's Standard Operating Procedures

　　Provide support for the security awareness and education programs

　　Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security Representative

　　Prepare and/or process inbound and outbound classified mail, faxes, courier packages and receipts

　　Must Have:

　　TS/SCI Security Clearance

　　HS Diploma

　　0-5 years' relevant experience

　　Ability to be self-motivated and work independently as well as in a team environment

　　Ability to adapt to changing situations

　　Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

　　Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
