　　A day on the job as a Warehouse Clerk:

　　As a Warehouse Clerk you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing various materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. A typical day on the job may involve assisting in the receipt, loading, and unloading of trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and then distributing to sales associates for processing. You will also play a key role in distributing products throughout the warehouse and delivering them to designated customer points. You may also assist drivers with deliveries as needed and handle tasks such as sorting and arranging materials on racks, shelves, or bins.

　　You will be tasked with performing preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities, including delivery trucks and forklifts, and safely operating a forklift. You will also be responsible for pulling and preparing internal orders for transportation, receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming materials, and maintaining the cleanliness, organization, security, and safety of the warehouse at all times. You will mark materials with appropriate identifying information and record quantities received or distributed using the relevant computer program. Additionally, you will assist in conducting physical inventory counts and carry out any other duties as assigned.

　　Work schedule:

　　Monday through Thursday from 6 am to 4:30 pm

　　Possible overtime hours are available

　　The Warehouse Clerk position is seasonal for a period of up to 6 months and employment may be terminated during that time. There is a possibility that the position may become permanent depending upon company need and job performance.

　　This job may be for you if you have:

　　Prior warehouse experience is a plus

　　Ability to accurately and consistently operate the scanner

　　Previous forklift experience preferred (Forklift Operating Certification preferred)

　　Strong organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and analytical skills

　　Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures

　　Excellent verbal and written communication skills

　　Ability to work independently and multi-task

　　Basic math skills such as adding and subtracting

　　Familiarity with computers and Windows-based programs such as Microsoft productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word, and Outlook)

　　Ability to speak Spanish is a plus

　　Physical requirements:

　　Can lift, carry, and load items up to 50 lbs.

　　Are capable of walking distances across the facility

　　Have the physical ability to stand for extended periods

　　Can walk, bend, stoop, and kneel frequently
